Industry leaders gather to tackle energy efficiency at EEES 2016

This year’s prize-winner will be announced at a press conference following the Prince’s Roundtable on Philanthropy in Paris on Tuesday, January 26, 2015 at the Institut de France.

Following COP21, which took place in Paris from 30th November to 11th December 2015, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation has welcomed the successful outcome of the conference with the adoption of the text of the Paris Agreement by 195 States of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change.
Climate COP21: 22 countries form the Because the Ocean group
For the first time in Paris this week 22 countries have raised prominently the Ocean at a Climate COP, indicating that we are ready to enter a new era of climate action that includes the planet’s blue part which represents 75% of the Earth’s surface. The ocean absorbs 25% of CO2 emissions and 90% of the heat associated with climate change, recognition and inclusion in the climate debate is long overdue.

The Monaco based association will implement innovative sustainable development projects in exploration of air, land, and water.
The goal is to preserve the goods and services produced by the sustainable management of these ecosystems and the creation of economic wealth for the people inhabiting these spaces.

COP 21 in Paris - Conference of the Parties of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change – began yesterday Monday 30th November. Over 150 heads of State or government took the stand to give political impetus to the negotiations which will be taking place until 11th December.

On Sunday 29th November, the eve of COP 21, over a thousand people gathered at the Palace Square in Monaco to take part in the Climate March organised by the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation, led by H.S.H. Prince Albert II of Monaco, H.S.H. Princess Charlene and T.S.H. Prince Jacques and Princess Gabriella.

Just a few days ahead of the World Climate March, which will take place on Sunday 29th November 2015, the route across Monaco has now been defined.
The aim of this initiative, organised as a prelude to the Conference of Parties to the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (COP 21 in Paris), is to make the public and decision-makers aware of the urgent need for concerted action to combat the effects of climate change.

PRINCIPAUTÉ DE MONACO (11 novembre 2015). Depuis la signature du partenariat entre BLUE et la Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco ainsi que le Musée océanographique de Monaco en 2013, le BLUE Ocean Film Festival & Conservation Summit était attendu en Principauté.
