The Scientific and Technical Committee of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation held its second meeting of 2015 on 29th June under the Presidency of H.S.H. the Sovereign Prince in order to examine and assess potential support for various new projects.

Aujourd’hui, son territoire est limité à deux provinces à l’est de la Russie et à la frontière Sino-coréenne.

Two bearded vultures released in San Giacomo di Entracque in Italy
The last bearded vulture in the Alps was killed 100 years ago. This bird of prey, the largest in Europe, is also one of the eight most endangered species of bird on the continent. In 2007, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation joined the bearded vulture reintroduction programme set up in the Alps in 1989. Since then the Foundation has supported the reintroduction of 12 bearded vultures alongside the Parco Alpi Marittime and the Parc National du Mercantour.
On Saturday, 6th June 2015, the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation took part in the release of two bearded vultures, "Herculis" and "Roman" in San Giacomo di Entracque, Italy.
Conference on climate change and its impact on sea levels - Sylt
On May 29th, 2015, the German branch of the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation organised in Sylt, Germany’s north most island, a conference on climate change and its impact on sea levels, punctuated by the intervention of two experts: Prof. Dr. Klaus Töpfer, former German Federal Minister for the Environment, Nature Conservation and Nuclear Safety, who introduced and moderated the conference, and Mr Sven Plöger, renowned meteorologist in Germany, who gave an expert and entertaining presentation.
3rd Croatian Water Day 2015: Thirty cities participated in the biggest ecological action
On Saturday, 30th of May 2015, Maurizio Codurri, President of the Italian Branch represented Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation as a host of this year final ceremony of the Action to the third time marked the Croatian Water Day that presents the biggest action of cleaning Ocean, rivers and lakes all over the Croatia organized by GUWAA (Global Underwater Awareness Association).
