HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco inaugurates in Beijing the "Oceans" exhibition and TEDxBeijingSalon conference dedicated to ocean conservation

On 25 August 2015 in Beijing, HSH Prince Albert II of Monaco inaugurated an exhibition presented by his Foundation and a TEDxBeijing event. Staged in Salone Monaco, a new event space in Parkview Green, both events celebrated and explored the world’s single largest ecosystem — the ocean. “These events confirm the fact that the voice of Monaco can be heard concerning the fundamental issue of the oceans and above all, they confirm the importance of the role that China can play in our common struggle to preserve the seas” said HSH the Prince of Monaco.

Réintroduction du gypaète barbu : des années d’efforts récompensés

La Commune de St-Etienne-de-Tinée, le Parc national du Mercantour et la Fondation Prince Albert II de Monaco sont heureux de vous annoncer le prochain envol de "Aunos". Il s'agit du  premier poussin de gypaète barbu du Parc national du Mercantour né en milieu naturel depuis la disparition de cette espèce dans les Alpes au début du XXe siècle. Le jeune gypaète est né au mois de mars. Son nom a été donné par la classe de CM1-CM2 de l'école de St-Etienne-de-Tinée. Il fait référence au surnom du gypaète « le casseur d'os » et au mont Aunos (2514m) situé sur la commune.

The Vistamar restaurant once again demonstrates its commitment concerning the sustainable consumption of seafood products

The Michelin-starred restaurant, Le Vistamar at the Hotel Hermitage Monte Carlo has joined forces with the Prince Albert II of Monaco Foundation to promote responsible consumption of seafood products and today has become the first restaurant within the Monte Carlo Société des Bains de Mer to join the Mr Goodfish programme.

Rotaract Prince Albert Ier : remise d’un chèque d’une valeur de 3.000 euros à la Fondation Prince Albert II, en soutien au projet de réintroduction du gypaète barbu dans le Parco delle Alpi Marittime.

Le Rotaract Prince Albert Ier a organisé ce samedi 04 juillet au restaurant le Castelroc sa traditionnelle passation de pouvoir, soirée lors de laquelle Emmanuelle Kerforne a transmis la présidence du club à Michele Tamma. C'était également l'occasion pour le club de procéder à la remise d'un chèque d'une valeur de 3.000€ à la Fondation Prince Albert II, en soutien au projet de réintroduction du gypaète barbu dans le Parco delle Alpi Marittime.

Record-breaking solar flight reaches Hawaii after 5 nights and days airborne without fuel.

HAWAII, July 3rd, 2015.The longest and most difficult leg of the Round the World Solar Flight attempted since last March by Swiss explorers Bertrand Piccard and André Borschberg ended successfully in Hawaii. At the controls of Solar Impulse 2, pilot André Borschberg landed safely in Hawaii after flying 117 hours and 52 minutes over the Pacific Ocean from Japan powered only by the sun.
