I decided to set up a Foundation whose purpose is to protect the environment and to encourage sustainable development (...). By definition, this is a common global challenge that requires urgent and concrete action in response to three major environmental issues: climate change, biodiversity and water.

The Prince Albert II foundation of Monaco concentrates its efforts in priority geographical zones. They are the polar zones (Arctic and Antarctica), the Mediterranean region and the least developed countries (mainly in Africa and Asia). Some projects are supported except these big zones and appear in the listing below in the other zones. Also the organization of the colloquiums is treated to part.
